Rising demand for larger apartments in North Sydney sees Aqualand launch second stage of AURA

Aqualand has just released the second stage of its North Sydney development, AURA.

The billion-dollar mixed-use luxury residential development is in an area undergoing revitalization, with plans already underway to complete public realm works that complement the suburb’s new transport, commercial and cultural infrastructure .

The second stage of Aqualand is a new release of one, two, three and four bedroom apartments ranging from 55m² to 262m², most featuring north-facing living rooms offering abundant light, westerly views down to the sunset and neighborhood views. horizon.

Once known as Australia’s largest office district outside of a CBD capital, North Sydney is seeing growing demand for larger homes and apartments and is poised to transform into a more vibrant and liveable place to live.

Economist Nerida Conisbee says the transformation will present an exciting investment opportunity for property investors and homeowners as housing demand in North Sydney soars over the next five years.

“Given the high level of amenities and proximity to other parts of the city, there is very strong housing demand in North Sydney, driven by a combination of increasing population growth and the shift to apartment living in central Sydney,” Conisbee said.

“This major transformation will make it an even more attractive, sustainable and vibrant place for residents, workers and businesses.

“Unit price growth over the past 2 years has been unprecedented, doubling in the past decade and increasing by 12% in the past 12 months. As North Sydney transforms, it will attract over 6,000 new residents over the next 15 years, with nearly 3,600 new homes needed to accommodate them.

“As empty nests and size reductions are the main growth category, most will need to be suitable for childless couples and singles. Due to scarcity of land, almost all will need to be medium to high density.”

AURA by Aqualand, with architectural design by award-winning firm Woods Bagot and interiors by Richards Stanisich, will provide residents with expansive views, green surroundings and unparalleled urban comfort.

Aqualand’s second stage includes apartments aligned with a modern lifestyle, with residences offering a multifunctional room that can be used to create a second living space, home office or guest bedroom. Some apartments will also benefit from sunny, glazed studies.

Residents will have a choice of three color schemes, with Dark, Mid and Light. The spaces are flexible and generous, allowing for greater lifestyle flexibility and a perfect balance between living and working from home. Each AURA residence is unique in its planning and proportions, offering different models and solutions to reconcile work and family life in the same space. Marble worktops anchor kitchen spaces that balance form and function, with touches of rich oak and dark bronze adding artistic luxury, while bathrooms feature marble flooring and Bronze powder coated framed mirrors.

AURA by Aqualand offers a range of community amenities, including an expansive pool and gym, sundeck and community center, for the private use of residents only.

High-end dining and entertainment are just minutes from the apartments, with Aqualand’s hospitality arm, Etymon Projects, which also organizes and manages AURA’s multi-level hotel district, home to a supplier, a bakery, a restaurant and a contemporary Japanese restaurant.

Further afield, the new North Sydney Underground Station is a short walk from AURA, providing residents with convenient access to the rest of Sydney.

Etymon Projects will also provide 24/7 concierge services to AURA residents. Tailored to the lifestyles of AURA residents, services will include everything you would expect from a luxury concierge, including home management and event planning, welcoming guests, booking restaurants and route planning.
