Joylive City BSD

Joylive BSD City, a community hotel located just outside Jakarta, opened in the town of Bumi Serpong Damai, south of Tangerang, on March 10.

A mid-range property combining a hotel and residence concept, the 136-room hotel includes the Soul Kitchen restaurant, laundry facilities, co-working spaces, a mini-gym, meeting rooms, as well as a shared kitchenette and common areas.

JAL City Tokyo Hotel

JAL City Toyama Hotel, Japan
Okura Nikko Hotel Management, a subsidiary of Okura Hotel, opened its first property in Toyama Prefecture, JAL City Toyama Hotel.

Located on the coast of the Sea of ​​Japan in the Chubu region of Japan, the JAL City hotel will offer 252 rooms. The Japanese-style bathrooms are equipped with separate toilets. most have rainfall showers and separate tubs and showers. Not to mention large 4K TVs with mirroring functionality, allowing smartphones and other smart devices to connect to them.

Guests can dine at the all-day dining restaurant, Cafe Contrail, which also has a bar offering a variety of Western liquors and wines, as well as local Toyoma sake.

Avani+ Khao Lak Resort, a 327-key beachfront property located on Bangsak Beach in Phang Nga, Thailand, has opened. The property serves as the launch pad for AvaniFit, the brand’s new lifestyle concept aimed at bringing fun and variety to hotel fitness.

The resort’s AvaniFit is a 24-hour facility that aims to challenge fitness enthusiasts with a combination of endurance and resistance training, aerobics, and high-intensity interval training. Guests can also sign up for boxing or tennis lessons, or try their hand at suspended yoga and rock climbing. Sun activities like a beach obstacle course, pool workouts, surfing, and kayaking are also available.

Guests can unwind with relaxing treatments at AvaniSpa, where kids can also enjoy spa treatments when not busy with fun activities at the two-story AvaniKids Club, the largest kids’ club in Khao Lak. With age-appropriate play areas, board games and a PlayStation corner, AvaniKids also encourages outdoor time with a water park, beach activities and a private skate park with a pump track, ramps and play boxes for older children.

Other facilities include swimming pools and four dining options, including the all-day dining Elements Restaurant.

Hotel Grand Papua

Radisson Hotel Group has launched its first hotel in Papua New Guinea, the 16-story Grand Papua Hotel which overlooks Port Moresby Harbor and the Coral Sea.

The hotel has 161 rooms and suites, one floor of which is reserved for female travelers. Guests staying on the Executive or Grand floors also have access to the 15th-floor Executive Lounge, which offers complimentary refreshments, personalized services, and panoramic views.

Facilities include a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, hair salon and nine function rooms for all types of events. For dining options, guests can experience the poolside terrace, the Grand Bar or the Grande Brasserie.
