Arlo Midtown – 489 rooms
Opening: May 2021
Arlo Midtown, located between Times Square, Garment District and Hudson Yards, opened in late May with a modern mix of 489 total rooms, spacious social spaces and four award-winning food and beverage companies from the Gerber Group. Guests can choose from King and Double Rooms with patios overlooking Hudson Yards, or the Penthouse and King Suites, which are a first for Arlo.
Graduate Hotel Roosevelt Island – 224 rooms
Opening: June 2021
The Graduate Roosevelt Island, located on the Cornell Tech campus in Roosevelt Island, offers guests views of Manhattan and Queens. On the new Roosevelt Island tech campus, AJ Capital Partners and Cornell University have teamed up to build this hotel. A full-service restaurant, rooftop bar, and 5,200 square feet of meeting and event space are all available at the hotel. The pet-friendly hotel is designed in a futuristic style with allusions to Roosevelt Island’s past.
Hotel Margaritaville – 234 rooms
Opening: July 2021
At the crossroads of the world, the Margaritaville Resort Times Square offers an island paradise. A retail space, three-story Margaritaville food and beverage concept, a LandShark rooftop bar, heated outdoor pool and fitness center are all part of this new 29-story hotel with 234 rooms. .
Ace Hotel – 287 rooms
Opening: July 2021
On the outskirts of downtown Brooklyn, Ace Hotel Brooklyn is located in Boerum Hill. The 287-room hotel, designed by Roman and Williams, features a public lobby, a lush indoor garden room, various event spaces, a large-scale installation by artist Stan Bitters, and rooms with panoramic views of Manhattan, Staten Island and the Statue of Liberty.
Pendry Manhattan West – 164 rooms
Opening: September 2021
The hotel’s premier location in New York has 164 guest rooms, including 30 suites, as well as a signature restaurant, colorful outdoor terrace lounge and bar, as well as meeting and event space. Between Penn Station / Farley Post Office and the new 7-train Hudson Yards station is the Manhattan West development, an 8-acre campus. The fluted glass facade of the building gives a unique flavor to this constantly evolving neighborhood.
Fifth Avenue Hotel – 153 rooms

Developer Flaneur Hospitality has renovated and restored a 115-year-old former bank designed by McKim Mead & White for use as a luxury hotel in the city’s NoMad district. The Fifth Avenue Hotel, just steps from Madison Square Park, offers high ceilings, a grand ballroom, a tiered restaurant, and a converted bank safe that doubles as a wine cellar.
Henn na Hotel New York – 92 rooms
Opening: October 2021
The Henn na Hotel New York is the flagship property of the Henn na Hotel brand in Japan. Starting with a life-size animatronic T. rex in the nature-inspired lobby, the hotel offers guests an unforgettable experience by combining unusual and exquisite services. LG Styler Steam Cabinets and TVs with streaming function are important tech features, while Kassatex luxury linens and CO Bigelow bath amenities provide exceptional comfort. Gosuke, an authentic Japanese-style restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, is located in the hotel.
Hotel Aman – 83 rooms

With this five-story hotel in the historic Crown Building in midtown Manhattan on Fifth Avenue, the Aman Hotels, famous for their exquisite resorts in remote areas, will add a third property in the United States. The Aman New York hotel will have 83 rooms and suites, 22 private apartments, three restaurants and a three-story spa with an indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms, hot and cold plunge pools and an outdoor terrace. with shed, meridian, and fireplace when it opens in T4.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel – 250 rooms and 16 residences
Planned opening: Beginning of 2022
In the NoMad district, Paul Kanavos is building a premium hotel by Rafael Violy. When it opens on 28th Street and Broadway later this year, the Ritz-Carlton New York NoMad will be the city’s second Ritz-Carlton, and it will house an outpost of chef José Andrés’ Mediterranean restaurant Zaytinya.
Virgin Hotel Project – 463 rooms
Planned opening: summer 2022
The first Virgin Hotel in New York will open in the NoMad district in early 2020. It is one of the city’s newest design and lifestyle centers. Virgin Hotels offers a trendy four-star resort in this vibrant area. The Lam Group is planning a 38-story glass tower that includes shops, restaurants, reception space, as well as a rooftop swimming pool and bar for the project.
